This custom-designed forming fixture is built for manual thermoforming of acrylic sheets. The fixture consists of a welded steel construction made from S235 structural steel, ensuring rigidity and durability even under repeated thermal cycles.
An optional PTFE coating may be applied to the contact surfaces to prevent sticking and facilitate smoother demolding. Designed for reliability, repeatability, and ease of use, this fixture is ideal for prototyping, small-batch production, or workshop use where fast, controlled shaping of thermoplastics is required.
Both the base and the top section are precision-welded to maintain alignment and withstand immersion in hot water during the forming process. Once softened, the heated acrylic sheet is manually pressed into the fixture, shaped as needed, and then removed and cooled in its final form.
